120 participants joined the MIKE 21 training week in Shanghai During the week of March 22-26, DHI China hosted the largest MIKE 21 training course ever with 120 trainees from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The training included a two-day introduction to the basic modules PP and HD and a three-day training in three smaller groups within waves, sediments and environment. Read full news here |

Flood protection and dam safety in Poland with MIKE FLOOD In a project dealing with flood hazards as a result of dam breaks DHI instructors from Prague and Denmark are currently training a group of specialists from Krakow Water board, RZGW and Polish Met Office, IMGW in 1D and 2D modelling techniques including modelling of dam-break events. Danish PM visits DHI-NTU Research Centre Saturday 6th of March Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen visited DHI Singapore and the DHI-NTU Research centre to learn more about the research collaboration between Denmark and Singapore and help to celebrate the first two successful years of the centre. MIKE by DHI participated in "HydroEurope 2010", Nice, France From 22 February – 6 March 2010 more than 120 Master students/future engineers of 37 nationalities and around 30 international modellers participated in “HydroEurope 2010”. MIKE by DHI User Group Meeting & Training Session, India
On 24th and 25th February DHI India hosted the first national DHI Solution Software Seminar and MIKE by DHI User Group Meeting in New Delhi. More than 80 people attended the two day sessions while 36 signeded up for training sessions in the application of the MIKE products on 26th February. Read more here |
